You pray night and day. you draw chalk circles and walk the chalk away slapping your own face and chanting. Night after night. Eating only one can of chicken noodle soup a day. Days pass. Then weeks. But then a dust devil appears in your living room. It forms into a ape like monster. Standing nine foot on its hind legs. Long claws. Savage teeth. Feral snarl. The beast no sooner forms then it sprints out of the house, tearing your front door off. That's O K your fixing to be evicted anyway. The monster runs for the church exceeding the in town speed limit. You follow but very much slower. When you get to the church you find only meaty scraps of what once where people. No human was less then 40 % consumed by the creature before it departed to it's own world. Now the church is yours. But there will be a helluva of clean up ahead.
