You spend your time and attention on the kids instead of on crime

It doesn't take much time for the demands of suddenly needing to take care of a bunch of kids to distract you from the old "crime jones" as they call it in their secret crime hideouts, and eventually you forget about crime entirely. Your illegal, criminal tools and trophies gather dust in the garage and basement as the statute of limitations on every crime you ever did runs out and one by one the kids grow up and move out.

  1. Then old Crime Jones comes a-knocking once more
  2. You pursue new hobbies now that the house is empty
  3. You look for a way to get more kids
  4. You grow listless and complacent
