The Submarine

"Attention. Attention, I am speaking to the World.

I am Admiral Morgan. At my side is Dr. Herman Ohm, whose name is heard with respect by every scientist in every land.

("Ohm, a worker of miracles. He disappeared with a group of enemy scientists at the end of the war.")

We have just captured the latest atomic submarine built by the United States. This demonstrated by a fraction of the power we alone control. With this power, we can kill the engines of every craft that floats or flies, or any vehicle that runs on the land. This power places me in a position to dictate my terms to the world.

My first victim is the richest and the best able to afford tribute: the United States of America. Already I have your atomic submarine. Are you ready to hear my next demand?"

Pirates use auto-pilot technology and magnetic grapple a prototype submarine, somewhere in the south Pacific. Their signal is detected by Professor Bruce, who contacts the Navy with his findings...

Tobor and his controller Tommy are shot in a missile transport, mission: to board and retake the vessel.

Once aboard, they disengage the autodestruct routines activated by the former crew and allow the ship to be guided to the pirates.

"Our first cast brought in a fine fish," laughs Admiral Morgan.

"The atomic submarine will make a splendid replacement for this vessel," adds the Scientist, Dr. Herman Ohm.

The pirates are then destroyed.
