All the ills the means and hurts of the city are channeled into the food statue. Oddly the city never intervenes with the mounds of rodents that grow fat tame and lazy. Rabbits resting on the bellies of rats. Gophers and moles pushing their heads above the ground for succulent nibbles. Peace comes to the city. The crime rate drops. No more violence at all. Not even school yard scuffles. A calm but alert mind set is now the norm and people work in a relaxed but fast way that brings wealth to everyone living here. Even the homeless sleep in nice sleeping bags or nestled in the warmth of mice and wombats, screws and bunnies.
