In Infictive - VII

A review of monitored events and research notes for the third week of June 2012.

Today is Monday, June 18, 2012, marking fourteen years since the last episode of "The Party President". Isn't it funny how time goes by? Speaking of bygone times, it has been a week of sound and dreaming in Infictive...

  • Scientists have begun probing the dream, constructing what they believe is the most accurate picture of the history of the Cardian space. Their findings have overturned the idea the Cardian (including South Field) was a cultural parkland with limited sentient populations capable of transforming vast tracts of the landscape.

  • Gallos rights activist Chicken A condemned the HSUS (Humane Society of the United States) and other animal rights groups for their "ongoing collaboration with the enemies of free chicks," making direct reference to current controversies over provisions relating to egg farming in the US Farm Bill. "When they speak of being humane, they mean washing their human hands, salving their human consciences, over actual commitment to the rights of enslaved birds," Chicken A stated through his translator, Colton Burpo. "A humane society is no ally of mine!"

  • A body was discovered near Santa Magic Village on the Moloch-Infictive county borderline, and the Infictive County Sheriff's Department are reporting that the death was almost certainly the result of foul play. So far, however, they have been unable to ascertain the identity of the deceased individual, and are asking the community for any information that may help solve the case. The investigation is ongoing.

That's all for this week In Infictive, reminding you: once you're in, you're in.
