Ten Million Years Ago
The regions sat deep beneath the warm ocean. Strange furious beasts and exotic coral. Great long necked hunters, vast floating bloated sea-Mamooska's long since extinct. No intelligent life for millions of years. A few upstart serpent fish races come close but go extinct.
Three Hundred Thousand years Ago
A long phase of the regions being a vast sprawling seemingly endless swamp. Some mountains and hills towered above it here and there. The Green Ancients are the first known sentient life form to emerge. They lived on land and in the shallow waters. A vicious and violent species. Natural instinct drives them not to tolerate any other form of intelligent life. They killed off a few dozen early intelligent life forms before the earth grew cooler and the swamps receded into flat plains and the Green ancients where forced to live deep under the earth in undersea oceans warmed by the volcanic crust.
Two Hundred Thousand years Ago
The regions are a vast swamp. Dinosaurs reign. The Green Ancients rise into civilization. Nothing known remains of this culture and the swamp reptile people except what has been found written in ancient Elvin Scrolls.
One Hundred and Fifty years Ago
The Thou-Shalts sect migrates West to escape the lack of religious persecution. They invaded the Elvin city of Grelye. The great Elf and Mamooska kill/drive off. Still celebrated in the town of Hayze and the Holiday Victory of Purity Day on November 29.
One Hundred and Twenty years Ago
The Migration of Dwarves to act as cheap labor to help build the city of Hayze. Most of these small stout people have died off and only a small handful remain in the regions. Mostly as a result of improper diet and the Thou Shalts sect making living underground illegal. But more the beer and junk food they live on. And the fact that Dwarf men are rarely attracted to the manly Women of they're species and they lust after Human Women instead.
Soon
The End times brought about by the Thou-Shalts sect destroys all the life in the regions. At least for some time....
The next Seven Thousand years
The regions are a toxic desert. The only sign of life is birds flying over head. The world is not dead like the shalters attempted and in the end they could not even cleanse the regions for at the end of a seven thousand year period the wind and rains the floods and earthquakes cleansed the world allowing life to flood back in.
