A review of monitored events and research notes for the first week of May 2012.

• Spam-bots continue to swell the ranks of the Infictive Research Wiki, as recorded in the user creation log. The standing IO policy of asylum for the bots remains in effect, despite some minor protestations.
• Temporary slowtime in the early hours of Monday, May 7. No official explanation of reasons behind the lag, though some have attributed the problems to Catastrophists opposed to the more recent efforts of Darts.
• Baron Von Erich Ficklestin presented grants to selected Fnordham University art students, in addition to the undisclosed annual endowment to the university, at a special gala ceremony on Friday, May 4, hosted in Dowling Hall. Local officials in attendance were: Infictive County Manager Wardlow Deane; County Commissioners Elnora Reagle, Spector Palacios, Zita Arrocho; and both Libreville mayoral candidates, Brit Marvel and Diomedes Argyris.
• Chowtown Cafe on Monadalkni and Elephant has been brought under new management, who have guaranteed that there will be no service interruptions or radical changes to the menu and atmosphere.
• Case of the Staylonger Motel documents “no less than one of the largest single busts of illegal time travel operation in the history of paratime enforcement, spanning centuries, utilising solvents and spyragics, intimidation, murder, and worse.
• Bortolanb’s Journal recommendations include the Infictive County Tourism Board’s co-sponsored site “Infictive County Cuisine”, calling it “a bit of a strange leap into the world of gourmet, mixing traditional offerings with unconventional ones.”
