If you get inside Chris Titan's sportscar

The back door opens, pushed open by some automated process, and you climb inside. The interior is black, with yellow and blue stripes in places, and there appear to be dials everywhere, dials for things you cannot fathom needing dials. It is comfortable tho, and posh as get out!

The car begins to move again, but somehow the ride is so smooth that you barely sense you're moving at all. There are no bumps, no engine sounds. Just quiet motion.

Still taken by how cool this car is, it takes you a while to notice that Chris Titan is not actually driving, just sitting in the passenger seat. There is no one in the driver's seat at all. This would normally concern you, but, for some reason, you just go with it. There's probably a robot in the trunk, piloting the car safely.

The next thing you notice is that Titan has a toy laser rifle between the seats, like a policeman's shotgun. What's that all about?

"You expecting trouble?" you ask, half-joking, to which he replies simply: "All writers need to have a gun in the Innerzone."

  1. If you ask Titan where to get a weapon for yourself
  2. If you find Titan's magical journal under the seat along the way
