So one night in a bar you meet the semi legendary Burke Ogden! Ogden played for the Reino Nikola Orchestra during its peak years and left the band over a dispute over t shirt sales. You ask him for an autograph and end up getting drunk with him. You have a long conversation about mutant jazz which both of you love. You exchange numbers and since Odgen lives in town you end up hanging out there and drinking beers and playing music with him. He is thinking about doing a solo album and he is considering having you play on it!
