You go down to the open market. Many kinds of food and pre=apocalypse items are sold here. Many thieves go here to steal things, just like you. If caught the first offense is a severed hand. The second is a severed head. You steal a fishing talisman in excellent condition from a man with his own tent full of items from the "Other time". When you have the item in your pocket you quickly make your way back to your cave for fear of getting caught. This item may buy you a meal and some drinking water, besides it's good to own something other then just your crock pot.
