Try to make a fishing pole from the cities ruins

You go search the ruins for a good long pole and something you can use for a line. But the only thing you find of value is a can of happy puss moist cat food under tons of scrap tin. You devour it on the spot. Good stuff from an earlier era. And to think they fed this wonderful stuff to they're cats! Here we eat cats.
