The Thou Shalts sect knows the location where Lord JeeBus shall return to the earth and begin The Clearing. A glorious time when all the sinners are slaughtered and the Thou Shalts shall take dominion of all the world. The flat plain there is kept "clean" of life awaiting the return of the loving Savior. Untouchables roam the field for short times killing any animals or plants they find. Poisons are spread all over it to kill plants and animals. The fields are burned at the each of every month in holy fires to clean the earth of the filth of life and keep God's landing field holy. Once there was a town where dead field is, no one remembers its name and there is no sign of it now.
Below the dead town is the scant remains of a early Elvin settlement. MaMooska hides and bones smeared with endless handfuls of the animals fat. Now they are little more the bone shards and green hide dust. Circles of stones far underground of mass fires for cooking and burning the dead.
Below that there's the very ancient ruins of a futuristic human city of Vastside. Population two and a quarter million in its day. Now its ruins at the bottom of a deep underground lake, rusted away completely away.
