The Federal Farm Board (1930 - 1950) was established by the Agriculture Marketing Act of 1929, organized under President Bernard H. Stuckey. It was formed to help combat the Great Depression, later expanded into an intelligence role during the Second World War, and it was a predecessor of the Department of Farmland Security.
