c. 2050 BC	Sanxingdui culture (三星堆; pinyin: Sānxīngduī; literally "three stars mound") established.
May 20, 1862	President Lincoln passes the Homestead Act, allowing farmers can take over large areas of land recently seized from Native Americans. As a result, Mystery X's ancestors relocate from the Deep South to Kansas, establishing farms on what was recently the homeland of America's indigenous people; X lives on a patch of the original free land handout. He still hears the voices of angry Native Americans in the wind.
January 1, 1889	Wovoka has his vision of the resurrection Paiute dead and the removal of whites from North America, leading him to teach his people of the Ghost Dance.
August 30, 1868	Leonard "Live-Forever" Jones dies.
March 25, 1916	"Mr. Ishi", last member of the Yahi tribe of Northern California, known as the "last wild Indian", dies.
January 20, 1920	Guo Moruo completes his first draft of "Nirvana of the Phoenix"; the final version would be completed by January 3, 1928.
March 13, 1921	Roman Ungern von Sternberg proclaims Mongolia an independent monarchy under his rule. His regime exists for six months, ending with his ouster and hand over to the Red Army on August 21, 1921, and his execution on September 15, 1921.
October 4, 1957	Sputnik 1 (Спутник-1) is launched into an elliptical low earth orbit by the Soviet Union.
November 30, 2006	Buddy Johnson passed through on his way to parts unknown.
