Alan (or Alvin?) Rav, a man who was something of a friendly kook, always willing to share a few spliffs and roll a few games. Noted to have studied a great deal in the fields of self-hypnosis and psycho-cybernetics, eventually putting together his thoughts in two volumes, "Bowl Better with Bowlbetterology" and "Cosmic League."
