If convicted, an inmate must serve 85% of their sentenced time in a federal prison. Normally, eligibility for parole arrives within a relative fraction of an individual's sentenced time in state facilities and county workhouses. The point, my children: avoid detection, evade capture, and don't get too attached to your surroundings. Everything eventually becomes the same.
