Southfeild monks credit the Elves with the creation of the Great wall on the Wildlands. This is deep deep into the Western forest. Where no human tribes have settled. Although many hunt there. A vast wall raising up out of ancient stone. Going on and on as far as can be seen in the primal forest. Incredibly high, seemingly too epic for humans or anything but a great civilization with great numbers to create. The only other sign of former habitation in this area are wide roads made of great rectangle blocks. Is not known what lays beyond this wall. Some theorize that this is not in fact a wall. That is a damn to hold up the return of the Warm Ocean that covered the regions millions of years ago.

Elves...People of the Breeze

The earlier people of this region of DreamLands. Called the people of the breeze for their houses, mostly they had roofs but no walls and fresh breezes would stir dreams in beds a few feet from nature. A wise and magical people. They made burial and ceremonial mounds. Hunted the plentiful game and grew melons and squash. Known for their powerful condensed wines and amazing buildings. They lived here undisturbed for thousands of years before humans settled in from the East. More and more people came in and conflicts flamed up. In the end most of the elves where killed off and nearly all of the rest driven off to lands unknown.

A fair skinned people with yellow hair and yellow/orange eyes. They never used guns and machines. Crafted things by hand that last hundreds of years of continual use. They lived a easy life. Having tended groves of fruit trees and gardens to the point where they basically took care of themselves. A dreamy life of art wine and other drugs and making love. This life style was forbidden by the Thou-Shalts who concurred these lands.

After the great purging of Elvin kind the very land seemed to revolt against the new settlers. With hoards of grasshoppers, floods droughts and a blinding choking dust bowl. With sicknesses. With over abundance of certain animals or spiders.

Many Elvin burial mounds can still be found in the regions. Endless amounts of them have been raised to plant fields and build towns. Many of the current cities are built on top of Elvin cities but there is not a sign of the earlier people anywhere to be seen.

Southfeild monks credit the Elves with the creation of the Great wall of the Wildlands.
