You start to worry about others taking up residence here

You feel, over time, that this is the best phase of your life. You want to die down here, alone in the forest of waste. You can scarcely believe that scant years ago you were afraid to take the first steps into your wet, dark, perfect home.

But what if someone else got the same idea as you? You came down here to escape the horrors of modern life, after all. Millions of others are in the same predicament that you were. What if they were to migrate down in droves, filling these silent halls, ruining your perfect new Eden?

These thoughts begin to weigh on you more and more heavily as the days go on. It can only be a matter of time. The city is large. You don't walk the entire length of the sewers every day. For all you know there is already someone else living here. Maybe more than one!

  1. You pull up camp and start to walk the sewers
  2. You stake out a section of the sewer and stalk it like a silent hunter
  3. You decide not to be bothered by it
  4. You hear a eerie whistling somewhere in the sewers
  5. You start to set traps down here
