You finally find water. There's a little pond under a waterfall on a hill. You drink from the water fall and spit it back out. Its nasty! You drink again and spit. You fill your canteen a third way up with it. Nasty tasting water beats none but you worry it will make you sick or ruin the taste of good water poured into the canteen.
