There's something very hardcore and ruthless about using your fighting knife on Motely. It's a long and cruelly barbed weapon. You grab it's handle firm and give it a pull. But it's stuck. You pull hard three times then you remember you didn't unlatch the leather strap holding it in the sheaf. You do it now and pull the blade free. But Motely is nowhere in sight. A blood trail leads into the hall to the left.
