The cement floor and walls in the basement is perfect for throwing alarm clock against. They bounce off with pieces flying in the air. Old tree stumps are brought in and clocks smashed on them with sledge hammers. A wall of pliers set on tool hooks is put in, used to tear off the hands of clocks and mangle the gears inside the bodies of alarm clocks. Mesh gloves used by butchers are brought in by some eager students to tear off the metal arms with their hands. (This was a development after an eager student nearly cut his fingers off tearing into a clock)
This is at first a past time that is done on break. As the school grows it becomes more like Physical Education. It is a great way to focus the hate against the Great Alarm.
