You are confused and thought that this was a pick-your-path story

You almost understand.

You find the whole idea of being told to register for an account on the wiki you're trying to follow a story on to be downright confusing. Are you actually supposed to register an account and add to the Wiki Adventure? How is that going to progress the story and entertain you? Admittedly, some of the paths are a bit farcical, and there is an abundance of grammar mistakes that often perturbs you, but, wait? Why is this adventure path telling you to write on the adventure path? Does that mean you've lost and have to start playing again? Is writing on the wiki part of the Pick Your Path system?

This is one of those stupid meta-comments.

1. Bugger writing, you're going to continue on the path
2. You're going to login and write paths that aren't full of stupid meta-commentary
3. You become aware that you are... You?
4. You wonder if all the stories on the wiki aren't just telling the same story
5. You're even more confused now than when you started
6. You remember that you've been displeased by the lack of gender-neutral paths
