Twibbles has spend his life running hiding, being shot at. Trapped. Tricked. At forty he was the second oldest teddy bear in the world. He likes to eat marijuana roaches he finds in the park along with whatever backwash booze from bottles and cans he can get to. After finding a unopened beer can in someone's back yard he hit pay dirt. He hid in a deep tube going underground but no longer used in the filthy part of town and drank it. When he nodded off, as bears so often do after liquor and drugs, he feel into a deep sleep. And the Spider God called to him. Repeating his name over and over again till the little bear rose and walked down that echoing tube, but at some point he noticed he was on a long wide spider web. It stretched ever onward through the darkness of deep space.
