Manuel Azul is a natural anthropologist who has spent some time ON the Blue Planet with the Poldakians. A Roman-Catholic from birth he is vocal about a new strain of mystical Roman Catholicism that is bound to get the attention of the Inquistion in Rome. Depending on when you cut into his time-line he may already be drifting between pilgrimage sites on the down-low. There is rumored involvement with Jesuit Time Travel projects that according to those sources have to do with certain Royal Atlantian genes that allow him to trade freely in Atlantian technologies. There are some questions about the legitimacy of certain trades made in the present time frame. There is litigation about the possibly straining of certain fundamental non-interference policies. Mr. Azul makes an argument based on an interpretation of Providence empowered by Sovereignty, claiming both Baptismal Graces of Kingship and Royal Atlantian bloodlines. Mr. Azul also points out that he is not a business man but an anthropologist who sometimes will facilitate a "cultural exchange" with members of The Conscious Time Continuum, a time travel oversight committee for research facilities.
