The soldier secretly raises you himself

The soldier, one Rictor Von Helphelm does not have it in him to kill you by throwing you over the fence to the dogs. Instead he takes you home and takes care of you the best he can. Twelve months later he is killed by friendly fire at the battle of Forlow.
