You're standing in your space. You know, you're starting to get used to this. With reality as unstable as it has been, it's nice to be planted in one spot. Limits your options. Then the world shakes again and you are free of the sidewalk but something doesn't feel right. It's like you're missing something. You grope at your midsection in a panic. When you were fused to the sidewalk some of your internal organs and lymph nodes must have migrated downwards into the cement. You figure this is a natural response to take for a body that thinks it'll never move again. But you do worry that you'll have some pretty serious medical problems later on today.
