The New Adventures of Banzai Bunny
Nov 28 09: Black Pipe
Banzai goes to a clean and impressive little frat house on the far other side of town. Cool people there. He goes out a few times. He forgets to prop the door on a trip out to prevent it from locking him out. He has some time to kill before he can get back in so he goes to a little restaurant next door called Captain Fresh. He has a long black pipe loaded with reefer that he smokes in the place. The two guys working the counter smell something. Banzai wanders in and out of the place without buying anything. Just going in and taking a hit and blowing it out before leaving through the other customer door that's on the other side. Each time he walks about and checks back at the frat house where the stereo is too loud for them to hear him knock.
The third puff gets him caught. The Guys running the place are aggressive. They tell Banzai he is leaving now. He agrees and walks out. They go out too and they are herding him down the street.
"O K, So your marching me far from the store huh?" Banzai asks as the walk keeps going.
"That's right, Peggie", The leader of the two says aggressively. Whatever thinks Banzai, its a nice day and I have some time to kill anyhow.
"Alright, then, lets walk", Banzai says agreeably.
"That's right, Helen", Leader says in his insulting challenging voice.
Suddenly the aggressive leader grabs Banzai's arm, pulling the skin tight and slicing deep with two savage knife strokes. Blood is pouring out. It's deep alright. "Why did you cut me?. Did you think this was a weapon?". Banzai pulls out his long black pipe.
The two look at him silently. He can tell that's indeed what they thought and that now they are confused.
