The Holes in the Earth

Many areas of Arloban have holes in the earth over thin ground or rotting woods covers now overgrown with plants. The holes go down into deep wells. Sometimes people fall into these holes. Normally resulting in quick or slow death. If they fall too far no one has the means to rescue them.
