Don Quixote gets lowered down into a cave where he falls asleep and wakes up in a meadow. He is met by a character named Montesinos.

Borges, who at the end of his essay "Partial Magic in the Quixote" asks: "Why does it disturb us that Don Quixote be a reader of the Quixote and Hamlet a spectator of Hamlet? I believe I have found the reason: these inversions suggest that if the characters of a fictional work can be readers or spectators, we, its readers or spectators, can be fictitious"

Chris Titan was contacted by Montesinos, through the coordinates of Jorge Luis Borges, Cervantes, and then Don Quixote to solve the mystery that remained hidden in the Cave of Montesinos.

Roumer has it that Chris Titan is an interzone agent who has some research papers that allow time travel missions and that this is why he was contacted for this operation. His uncanny resemblence to Don Quixote was rather alarming to him when he first realized the magnitude to the mission, the plastic morion (helmet Don Quixote) had been sitting in his room for well over a year, two handed sword ready to defend against intruders, and a multitide of stange books that have rotted his wits...not to mention a peculiar goat beard and his stubborn adhearance to wearing his hair in long warlocks.

Agent Titan was perfroming a Mercury Retrograde working at the time of this mission, the records indicate that this was pinpointed to the 10th degree of Mercury in Pisces. These working involved the Tunnels of Set...so it was no suprise when we discovered a off shoot tunnel in the Cervantes material. Like the Grant material where the strange journeys in the tunnels originate...there was an odd magickian...and tales of enchantment and suspension...very similar to Grants reports...so the material was in resonance.

Agent Titan, well known for his non-nazi connections to the Hollow Earth, was able to deal with the extreme time dialation that took place in the cave of Montesinos. Quioxte was in 1500's but Monetsinos was in there for a few hundred years. This lead to a furious research into the classics to get a clear understanding of the placement and position of the Romance of Durandarte that was being keyed by Agent Cervantes.

On Valentines day Agent Titan was able to penetrate the mystery and transliterated the Poem into english. It described the last request of Durandarte, which was to have his heart delivered to his Lady. The irony of giving a paper heart to his Lady that day was not lost on Agent Titan.

The problem still remained why they were not at rest. The investigation continued.

The story was thick with a dense yellow propaganda. There was a sickly smell of death. Something was rotten that seemed to be enamelled over and brighly painted with Heraldry that was as fake as eating as Mideval Times Restaurant...well that was more authentic than the halls of the actual past that Agent Titan walked down. Hands clenching in nicotine fits to some back beat...pumping adrenaline from the confused glands.

Durandarte and Montesinos were not exactly present at the Battle of Roncevaux Pass when Agent Titan made his first sweeps over in the etheric Autopilot Traffic Machine, or disguised Time Travel technology that was being sold by him over the internet ( first task was based on Jack and the Beanstalk...but that is another tale)

What was shocking to Agent Titan was to see Roland being betrayed by his own party in a carefully orchestrated conspiracy. Seeing that he was being set up Roland went to break his magic sword in peices on a rock to prevent the enemy from taking his power. This is all to similar to the Sword in the Stone we have heard about our whole lives.

What happened was that the superstition of the Pepin's brood thought they needed the actual sword to rule the earth...and perhaps they did...if we are going to get into the next level with this...

Chris Titan consulted the evil Jon Sellers and was given a hint that what he needed was buried in the source material for Holy Blood Holy grail...which is where the name Guillen de Gellone connected to the death of Dagobert. Guillen de Gellone fits the description of Roland perfectly and was a mythic hero in the same time period. He is said to have retired to a monestary. ............................
Roland tells the story of the betrayal of Dagobert and Guillem de Gellone by compressing them together. In fact...the Guillem de Gellone who lived his life out in the monestary was an impostor. Guillem de Gellone possesed the Heaven Bond Earth (Dur.An.Ki) that allowed one to rule the earth with the powers of the Sumerian Kings.

This bond with Heaven and Earth was the sword Durandarte, which in the Cave of Montesinos lay enchanted and not at rest in death...why?

In the Song of the Romance of Durandarte, his last request is that his heart be delivered to his Lady.

When Agent Titan returned to the scene later it was even more ghastly...they were sitting around and eating his heart to steal his powers.

Many nobles fell at Roncevaux Pass mostly the supporters of the old king...it was a brutal murder that has been a murmuring ghost for 1000 years...until that brave knight of holy orders that still function even at the glimmerings of the 21st century...Until Now...

Titan returns to the cave...he is wearing Templar White Satin, a green sash, lambskin apron stained with a purple border and a sword on his belt. With tears in his eyes he grips the old Montesinos my the hand, pressed his knee to his knee and makes all five of the points of fellowship with the Srong Grip of the Lions Paw...and whispered in his ears.

"You were slain and betrayed, the sword was stolen, the heart was devoured, the lady lost. Time is coming to a close soon. Be free from your enchantment. I have told who would listen to Don Quioxte...and I am telling you. You were murdered by the House of Carolingians and were the objects of a 1000 year yellow propagana campaign...for the last 500 Cervantes has attempted to reveal these truths. I am not bound by obligations to the Order of Sion...you my dear brother Montesinos...you are Mount Zion and the Order of Sion and you have been enchanted as well. You know these histories to be true. It is time for you to sacrifice your ambitions for worldy power and embrace the truth."

And with that said Chris Titan did give Montesinos the most comely kiss a knight ever did give a fellow knight.
