Opening Scene-
ZOOM in on Gams Barkely's open maw, teeth gnashing and gumming his spiced Keiof weed. Slowly we draw out, following the vapours as they rise from his mouth and nostrils.
GAMS BARKELY
Ouais, merde à tous! (Yeah, shit on them all!)
Johny Vapor is the first we see as the camera ZOOMS OUT, propped against a dead tree, drinking from a large jug of wine. Clear liquid spills out from the sides of his mouth, dripping down onto his shirt.
GAMS BARKELY (off-screen)
Muck la cluckers! (Muck the cluckers!)
Johny Vapor hands the jug to--
GAMS BARKELY (off-screen)
Bidches la bastids! (Bidches the bastids!)
Murry M. Murphy! A long shadow falls over Murphy from behind, but he betrays no awareness, drinking from the bottle.
GAMS BARKELY
Ah! tabarnak! (Oh! Tabernac! [French sacré profanity, from Tabernacle])
Gams Barkley spits his chew, feeling for his guns, but too late. There is an explosion, a force sending his guts strewing all around him, blowing his body back away and into the desert behind. Red blood stains the camera lens, crimson refraction!
