You decide to kill yourself in public as a art piece. The first of a three part series you plan to do. You announce your doing yourself in by burning yourself to death on Friday. A moderate crowd shows up. Mostly media and people wanting to see someone die horribly live for the thrill of it. The smell of alcohol on they're exhalations. But when you set yourself alight the cops burst in with water guns putting the flames out instantly and arresting you. Lots of publicity that will establish a name for you. But also a lot of legal hassle now.
