The sacred lands of the Infictites and later the crumpatako Indians. Early fingers of red, spires, loops. So many boulders whose form is like some mostly eroded sculpture from before the rise of the Roman empire. The earliest signs of human habitation in the Western Hemisphere is Infictite ruins dating around 70-120 thousand years ago.
The hills are a tight maze of ridges and tall red cones. The sand there is red as well. Plants that grow there take on odd hues. The only place in the world where wild purple strawberries grow. Rainbows of mushrooms pop up after rains only to wither into dust in two days or less.. Relics are still found there by tourists. The old Indians legends state the Red Hills are one of the thin spots between the worlds. They buried they're dead there so they could choose the path of they're next life.
