It's Dead Folks Day

It's that Dead Folks Day time of year! This ancient, and mostly forgotten, holiday is still celebrated in Infictive County; somewhere between Christmas and Easter falls this strange event.

On the evening of Dead Folks Day, you tie presents to your mailbox with long gift wrap ribbons. A huge Vehicle, up late in the night, will come and collect the offerings, carrying them to your departed ancestors. According to the belief system involved, you must be asleep when the gifts are gathered up from your mailbox, as the dead inside the massive transport vehicle can sense those who are still awake. If you are still awake they will take you with them to the Land of the Dead. You will not be killed, but you will live out the rest of your mortal life there though.
