In Infictive - XXVIV

A review of events for the third week of November 2012.

Today is Monday, November 19, 2012, marking 324 days of 2012, which is also currently the Infictive Research Wiki's current position on S23's list of 46699 wikis. 42 days remain in the year. And now the week that was:

  • The long-awaited 99th album of Mystery X's discography has been dropped into the hungry maws of his awaiting fans, a compilation of tracks entitled simply "True Tales of Infictive County". We are promised that, despite recent attempts to thwart his certain victory in the Race to 100, Mystery X is well ahead of schedule, and the 100th official count album will be released on schedule.

  • Does "Glove Wars of a Reality Hacker" qualify as Alan Smithee's first big hit? After a first official screening on Sunday, November 11th to a select audience, the film has gone on to earn over "#300 Million credits" (unclear valuation in USD) in online digital release. The story, told across a broad range of different mediums, producing a "variable media" experience, has been derided by some critics -- one reviewer comparing it unfavorably to "Strange Days" -- while most on the professional circuit have refused to even review it as a film.

  • Your AMA Artist of the Year 2012 was announced last night, and, no surprise whatever, it is Justin Bieber. The young pop sensation also took home awards for Favorite Pop/Rock Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Album ("Believe"). We extend our congratulations to Mr. Bieber on his victory.

And so went the week In Infictive. Not that you even care, living down there in the sewer.
