This goes on for a long time, and you cannot hide it from friends and family any longer. Disgusted and unable to change your ways, they end up calling the cops, telling them you are addicted to clone sex and wasting away. The pigs storm your place the next night and they arrest you for it! You didn't even know it was against the law!
As it turns out, it is not, and they made up this new "clone sex crime" just so they could bust you. None of the charges hold up in court, and, after seven months (and all your money used up on defending yourself), you are set free. During this time, they seem to have "lost" all your clones, notes, and lab equipment.
You try to sue the government, but you are dirt poor, and you cannot even buy a Cult Spread sandwich...
