Head west from home
You come across a strange opening in the ground along a road by what appears an abandoned shack. The hole's cage is ripped open and bent and skewed, left hanging by a single screw. It seems barely large enough for someone to fit through, you peer inside - it opens to a small tunnel which appears to expand to into a hollow space beneath there, how you can even seen in such darkness is beyond you but you do have a trusty factory-issued flash light you always carry.
