Hailing out of Harney county, these not ready for Infictive county players only do cover tunes. Band front Marcy Dammit says they shall never write their own song. They are working hard at putting the Harny County "Covers are cool" scene on the map. They have their first release out of CD single. A snapping version of Jumping Jack flash backed with their trashing of Ludwig Van Oblivion's avant garde opus Insulflations. This was a apparent attempt to suck up to the infictive county hip scene, and a failed one.
On the Road with Die Pod

Die Pod is now touring to promote their second album Fuck You Kill the World. But they won't be going anywhere near Libreville. "Fuck those losers", Spits Gerald Jones, the drummer and longest standing member of the Moloch county supergroup. "Hell, lose fuckheads might as well be french". Night after night its blistering riffs and crushing drums. Drunken teens vomiting in the mosh pit and enough whiskey consumed by the band to support a micro-brewery. Die Pod stays away from the drug scene mostly. They do admit to tooting the occasional line of meth. Violence has marred this tour as it did the last albums tour where the bass player got shot live on stage. The band scuffled onstage with the metal band KillParty over a comment the lead singer made about the fags playing the next set. It was on. Half the members of each band had to be rushed to the hospital afterwards. Both bands refuse to press charges and claim to have beaten the other band down.
Who are the Gaunt?
Weedscene productions in partnership with Columbia is about to release the commedy film of the summer Kick Your Car!. It is to star Will Smith, John Cleese, and Will Ferrel. The soundtrack is being produced by Mystery X. When we asked him who is on it he said all the songs are provided by the Gaunt. Who are the Gaunt? We asked. He grinned and said, "Just wait".

DNP has released a fourteen song compilation of local Kansas bands. The flatlands sound is described as angry and rejected. Freaks in the heartland where freaks are not loved.
