Drift for the planet and hope

Weeks and then months pass as this new home world gets closer and closer. The mother ship lands on it. It shall lack the power to leave the planets orbit however. The only hope is to re supply and fix the craft here on this strange new world. The crew picked this spot because it is abundant in plant and animal life.

To be safe Robot X is sent out to gather up specimens. Just plants to start out with. They are kept in a safe room. After a couple days testing all but one are found safe and three of them edible! Not just edible but really fucking good!
