He always starts from scratch: that's a path. He's abandoned more projects in the lab than he's completed, often finding that he's given key components and equipment away to unfortunate strangers in need. Lost his medical license for malpractice or malfeasance as many times as he's gotten a new one under a different name. Still, a generous heart, and a wealth of talent despite all.
