Comfortably numb
You are so numb now you feel nothing. Not horror of the wounded children who have only recently passed minor expiration date. Not tiredness. Not boredom. Not even the passage of time. If you make it through all this you shall no almost no memory of it and that's alright by you. Your only moment of feeling is when you play the drum kit you made yourself. You only do this for twenty to thirty minutes a day, playing soft as to not disturb the others.
