Chots Bukak

Chots Bukak 1990-2009

Bukak was a gay Mutant Jazz trumpet player. He never got recorded on an album but was popular and considered an influential 1st generation Mutant jazz player. He ended up being gunned down coming out of a gay bar by a born-again Christian.


Chots is the main person credited to coining the Phrase Mutant Jazz His self-made trumpet is on display at the Libreville museum.

Bukak's ashes were spread onto the floor of the Hole in the hole in the wall after his funeral. They got ground into the concrete floor. Johny Mollkin wears a small section of charred head toe bone.

Chot's had a criminal record for stealing cat food which he ate and several charges for being out without an owner or a leash.
