This quote from Zosimus just jumped out at me from a book that has been cluttering my shelf for weeks. The Alchemist by M. Caron and S. Hutin, Evergreen Profile Book 27 (First edition 1961,Grove Press, Evergreen Profile Books). It is full of pictures of Alchemical stuff.
