T'sun Ken

I have traveled to T'sun Ken, the ancient center of Naufana before the Erectaclysm, to study the graffiti that still is visible in some of the partially submerged temples in the swamps at the base of the Glass Mountain. This Mountain was created by the earthquakes that devestated Naufana. I have been addicted to pornography since my stay in Ba'Dan and found myself without female consort. When I got to the University city of Wagdas I quickly discovered the pornography section of the library. It was full of the history of pornography and not just from this planet, but from all over the multiverse. When I learned of the erotic graffiti that existed in the ancient temples of Naufana I was completely obsessed. Legends of strange elaborate graffiti/art work with humans copulating with plants, or as some describe them plant people. I found these legends in out of the way sources in my quest for really strange porn. I decided that I would do a expedition to these temples and see for myself this ancient pornographic graffiti.

The Preparation

T'sun Ken is located in some of the most treacherous swamplands known. There is no settlements and the few habitants make the back water swamps of Lousiana look friendly. I had a few poor maps of where the temples were supposed to have been. No one has gone here for any reason for hundreds of years...or no one has returned. I got myself a hover-skiff piloted by a gruff fellow who insisted on being called Captain Chuck. He assured me that he had been in the swamps before. He said that there was stuff out there that people wanted but that no one talked about for shame and then he eyes me as if I had no discretion.

Underway

Captain Chuck was very skilled and we made excellent TIME to the outskirts of the swamps. Once we got inside the tangled bog it would be slow going. As we set down on the water I noticed a group of what looked like large fish but plainly conducted themselves with human mannerism as they cavorted on the rocks. They had the strangest eyes. I looked at Captain Chuck and all he said was "They ain't good eatin'"

A Casual Stop

Captain Chuck slowed the ether-skiff to a stop infront of a tall bush with large leaves that sparkled with crystals. "Holy Crap, If this is what I think it is..." He began gathering the leaves off the plant. It gave a strange resistance to his pulling of the leaves. He smiled, "You never want to use a blade on this plant. The sap is acid and will burn your skin. It has to dry out." He showed me how each stem was sealed when it was torn loose from the plant. He laid the leaves in the sun to dry. When the leaves were dry he pulled out a small carved box and pulled out some cannibis and rolled it in the sparkly leaf. He sparked up the fatty and passed it to me. It was dank and as the crystals burned it tasted floral and spicy. I instantly felt a wave a pleasure roll over me. The colors of the plants were more defined. The colors of the water and the color of the reeds were a roadmap in the frequency of colors. After 2 or 3 hits I had to pass and sit down. My head was swimming and strange images of Medieval Knights and sunken castles seemed to emerge from the shadows and shapes of the passing foilage. Captain Chuck smoked that reefer and guided that skiff with the agility of a crocodile gliding through this swamp.

Maps

I pulled out the map I had acquired at the University of Wagdas, buried in the old Borderland Sciences archives.

It was sent to Borderlands and remained in the archives where it was placed inside an old volume of an adventure book by Chris Titan. It was titled Green Meadow. It showed an area of gravel pits surrounded by swamp near the base of the mountain. The whole area starts to slope down from 1010 feet to about 1000 feet where the gravel outcroppings are and below 975 feet in some of the swampy areas. It was uncanny in quadrant marked 23 on the map the way a certain outcropping was formed. It was a long narrow strip of ground that snaked into the middle of the swampy depression. I had a strong feeling that this was the place I would find the sunken temple and be able to observe the ancient graffiti that adorned its walls.

Temple Maps

Moving through the muck, sweat dripping into my eyes, delays and set backs at every turn I finally made it to a clearing where the swamp leveled out and the ground became more firm but gravely. I opened a leather tube and pulled out my ancient temple maps and began to survey the landscape for Landmarks.

The Landmarks

The landmass had sunken more than 1000 feet since the time the ancient Temple Maps had been drawn up. The Titan Map was the most recent and differed in form significantly. I was able to find the strip of firm gravel and set up camp. I was certain that the bed rock in this location was firm and ancient and was the natural foundations for the ancient temple in Naufana. It would be the ideal camp none the less to survey the surrounding gravel pits for the next few months before the fall and winter set in.

A Discovery is Made

With my dowsing rods I have discovered what appears to be a very large stone or set of stones that have submerged beneath the earth and were them covered by gravel and debris from the mountain. It seems that the foundations may have been shifted and form the support upon which the gravel beds rest. Much of the debris and gravel being claimed by the swampy water. There are several abandoned mines that I intend on exploring as soon as I can gather some support timbers. It is a trip back into the jungle and Captain Chuck is hesitant. I will blast some of the gravel material away with explosives that I have as well.
