Anwar Salad Duo

The Anwar Salad duo

Phil Lectrum and Anwar Salad preformed together for a short while as the Anwar Salad duo, this was before Salad's bit us U S President in 2008. They sometimes will appear together through-out Anwar's campaign, playing songs from they're album, and trying to raise excitement for the candidate, Mr. Salad.m Phil Lectrum went on to form the classic mutant jazz band The Phil Lectrum Quartet

This two piece jazz group had a short seven month run. The leader of the duo, Anwar Salad moved on into activism ending the duo after they're only album: Cheshire Smirk Smock. Anwar is still a avid saxophonist, although he only plays to relax at home, or sometimes, during protests, leading the crowd with various poldaki folk songs.
