You start walking the street and picking up trash others have thrown into the ditch: lots of beer and booze bottles, McDonald's cups, shoes, etc. With these, you arrange a great and complex music machine! By pulling levers and pushing buttons you can make whole rows of bottles to click together, shoes slap, and many other mechanized percussive sounds. It is an amazing musical piece.
For nine months, on every Sunday at the Libreville Performance Hall, you perform your piece "Trash or War". People always show for this, small to gigantic crowds. You record it and release it on CD, bringing in a couple grand from sales.
One day, when you are done with this performance art piece for good, you donate the instrument to the local college. The school administrators aren't sure whether to be grateful or not, but accept it nonetheless. They can't afford to be seen to be turning down local artists!
