In the future, some would say this project of Sir Tich Tan, this posting of notices where they were unasked for and unwanted, was the unraveling of the entire community's standards. First this single illict posting of notices, and all the other vagabonds taking after him, until the whole forest was littered by solicitations. Was it his mad dream, to see the bark of these antient, tall trees shorn away to make room for more words, texts, images? One shudders to even imagine.
