The FuckGod Trio are a American Twisto rock group, distinct from many similar groups of the mid to late-2000s in its controversial name. It also had a sound somewhat reminiscent of The Daath Riders, but it was not known as a power grunge punk quartet. By the late 2005 it had become an internationally famous rock and roll group.

In 2003, the group known as The Freak Lovers evolved into The FuckGod Trio, with Shelby McNusty on Roland Fantom 23, Mack Twoll (formerly of The Infectos) on keyboards and harsh screams, May Foster a chubby blond girl from the deep south on drums and vocals.
The early F G T were often quite melodic, featuring Foster's versatile singing, which had a style rooted in pirate shanty songs. Musically, the band has also displayed some Industrial influences (but not as much as Mutant Jar Binge bands). Early FuckGodTrio songs tended to have catchy, sing-along choruses, initially backed by Shelby's distorted keyboard accompaniments and later by mutli-tracked synth clusters. The band began as a completly untrained ensemble. After several lineup changes and increasing international acclaim, Shelby McNusty disbanded the The FuckGod Trio in 2006.
The band often wore hooded robes when performing, and drummer May Foster reputedly invented a hairstyle called the grease distortion (a variation of the "rancid vomit" hairstyle) with the sticky front coming to a point in front of the nose or chin, a style still worn by fans (a.k.a. The Godly) today and contributed to the foundation of Twisto rock. In 2008, The FuckGodTrio were placed by VH1 at 23 on their list of 100 Greatest Artists of Underground Rock.

When the band originally reformed, it featured Vulnra Dahl on sitar and vocals, May Foster a chubby blond girl from the deep south on drums and vocals, and Mack Twoll, the half Mollkin half Poldaki keyboard player.. Vulnra Dahl is currently estranged from the group and is working with a new group named Gorgeous Gloom Shroud, which formed in 2008. Shelby McNusty recently reunited with the band.
A third, 2008 incarnation of the band, without May Foster, is presently led by the only other constant member, keyboardist, guitarist Mack Twoll. Members of the touring group includes Shelby McNusty on keyboards, and Minty John on keyboards, vocals and drums. On tour they are forifyed by bassist Ketch Robinsore and snyth and therimen player Celft Simpso.
History
After meeting Mack Twoll, Shelby McNusty was inspired to create The Freak Lovers. The history of the FuckGodTrio can be split into two main divisions of time. The first era marks the foundation of the group, founded and fronted by Shelby. The second era saw former members of the band with various new vocalists playing a mixture of new and old material.

Formation
McNusty decided As a tribute to Mollkin Industrial music, he named his musical project after Mollkin Musican Fuck God.
For weeks, Shelby wrote songs and practiced with friends and old band mates, trying to find a insane enough lineup of musicians to bring his perverted visions to life. The first complete FuckGod Trio lineup consisted of Shelby on synty, his old band mate Shank Flopo on drums, and Kaal Noon on synth and vocals. However, after only about a month of practicing, Flopo and Noon overdosed on dirty bath tub meth and died.
2008
In the later part of the year Umlaut Gomorrah joined the FuckGodTrio but the band was completely inactive during this time. They finally dis-banded yet again and pursued careers in vegetable hunting and radish peddling.
2009
The FuckGodTrio reformed with two a new vocalist and remained inactive. The new vocalist quit after recruiting another new vocalist and still the band remained inactive. Desperate for beer money and a pack of smokes the FuckGodTrio named was sold to James Flark for a six pack and a pack of bronsons.
The line up under James Flark= Flark on drums. Laggie Davidson on synth, Tocks Morchoal on everything else.
