Luigi Russolo, the first noise musician. Maybe. All the coolest noise artists have posters of him or his art on their walls.

Noise is precisely what it says it is: noise. Musically, that means using noise - those sounds that would normally be unwanted or unwelcome in production - in the creation process. For validation of the form as an authentic art, or just to prove you're straight legit, cite Dada, Surrealism, Fluxus, and a few of your favourite contemporary artists as influences.
