When you wake up in your own home the next morning after walking home in the extreme heat and passing out into a dead dry sleep its to bird song. A loud mix of endless bird calls. You look out your bedroom window. the ground is lined with a rainbow of birds, and the trees are packed with them. They are singing, tweeting for you. They invite you to come out and join them. You go outside. Hundreds of them land on you gripping gently and flapping their wings. You lift off and they carry you far far away. To the place of the bird king. This is s ninety pound purple and white bird with a golden comb like a crown. The bird king says you are welcome to join with them now. You are welcome, they love you. You are fitted with feathers and you work your way into the having the strength to fly. You soar with joy over cliffs and under bridges with your bird friends. Laughing in the wind, doing acrobatics flipping and rolling. Very good times.
