Seléne (pronounced /sɨˈliːni/; Greek: Σελήνη [selɛ́ːnɛː] "moon"; Doric: Σελάνα; Aeolic: Σελάννα) was an archaic lunar deity and the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia. In Roman mythology, the moon goddess is called Luna, Latin for "moon".
